The plot takes place years after another war with Naruto fighting Sasuke. Sasuke revived the Akatsuki, but instead of an S rank organization he created an out of the way village that the remaining don't know about. The climax for another war hasn't came to pass, but news of Akatsukigakure no Sato could spark a dark flame in those who know their history.
